Fire-Boltt Tank Review: Don’t Let the Price Fool You
In this blog, we will talk about the Fire-Boltt Tank smartwatch.
The company has promoted this smartwatch as affordable and rugged, but is it that tough?
I’ve been using the Fire-Boltt tank for a few days now and have become familiar with its features and capabilities.
Based on my experience with the product, I am writing this Fire-Boltt Tank review to share my thoughts and insights.
Fire-Boltt Tank Review
Bottom Line
The Fire-Boltt Tank is a smartwatch that boasts a sporty, tough appearance and includes 123 sports modes and a comprehensive Fire-Boltt Health Suite.
However, it should be noted that the Fire-Boltt Tank lacks a metallic body and enhanced water resistance, which may impact its performance in rugged or demanding conditions.
Therefore, it may be worth considering other options if you are looking for a truly rugged smartwatch.
If you are primarily interested in the design of the Fire-Boltt Tank, then it may still be a viable option for you.

Design & Build Quality
The most highlighted aspect of the Fire-Boltt Tank is the unique design that showcases it as a rugged smartwatch.
Earlier, there was no rugged smartwatch with a square dial in India at this price point.
If you have seen Amazfit T-Rex 2, this smartwatch provides a similar look, but it does not mean that you should compare Fire-Boltt Tank to T-Rex 2; this is just a reference.
First of all, let us talk about its design.
The Fire-Boltt Tank features a crown and function buttons on its side.
The crown button serves a dual purpose, allowing you to scroll through the contents of the smartwatch and providing a functional element to the device.
In contrast, the function button provides quick and direct access to the sports mode, which can be a convenient feature for users who frequently engage in physical activities.
At the same time, the backside houses the charging point and various sensors.
The company has focused on the design of the smartwatch in order to give it a rugged appearance.
Still, it lacks the durability and robustness typically found in rugged smartwatches.
It means that the Fire-Boltt Tank may not be as capable of withstanding rough or demanding conditions as other rugged smartwatches on the market.
But yes, I am impressed with the straps; they feel soft and premium, which does not irritate the skin.
In short, the Fire-Boltt Tank provides a sporty and rugged look but fails to impress in terms of build quality.
Display & UI
In the Fire-Boltt Tank smartwatch, you see a large 1.85-inch display, which makes it stand in the list of top smartwatches with big displays.
It sports a resolution of 240×280 px, which ensures that you get decent display quality.
If you are going to use it outdoors, its brightness of 500 nits is sufficient, and you will not have any problem using a smartwatch.
Interestingly, you see thin bezels, which improve your smartwatch usage experience.
On the other hand, if we talk about the UI, you can see the notification on swipe up, while its control panel will open on swipe down.
Plus, you can enable its widget section by swiping left; the best thing is that you can customize it.
It allows you to add or remove widgets.
By swiping right, you can go to its menu section.
To sum up, I found the display and user interface of the Fire-Boltt Tank to be satisfactory, and I did not experience any issues during my use of the smartwatch.
Given its budget-friendly price point, I believe it provides a decent overall user experience.
Watch Faces
In Fire-Boltt Tank, you see more than 100 cloud-based watch faces which you can use through the Da Fit app.
It also includes a selection of built-in watch faces you can access and set by long tapping on the screen.
Alternatively, users can take advantage of the functional crown button to change watch faces while wearing the smartwatch.
This added feature allows users to customize the appearance of their smartwatch and change the watch face to suit their preferences or mood.
Along with this, you also have the option to use customized watch faces on the smartwatch.
It allows you to personalize the appearance of your smartwatch and choose a watch face that reflects your style or interests.
Bluetooth Calling & Notifications
The Fire-Boltt Tank is a Bluetooth calling smartwatch that allows you to make and receive calls.
In this, you also get to see the built-in speaker and mic, ensuring a better calling experience.
I am satisfied with the calling quality of the Fire-Boltt Tank, as it boasts a high-quality speaker that allows for clear and audible communication with others.
The speaker’s performance is particularly noteworthy when used outdoors, as it effectively amplifies the voice of the person on the other end of the call.
Overall, the strong speaker of the Fire-Boltt Tank makes it a practical choice for use in outdoor environments, as it ensures that calls can be heard and understood even in noisy or challenging conditions.
The Fire-Boltt Tank also includes an AI voice assistant function, allowing users to control the smartwatch using their voice.
It can be a convenient and hands-free way to interact with the smartwatch and access its various features and functions.
The Fire-Boltt Tank also performs well in terms of notifications, delivering them on time without significant delays.
However, the smartwatch does not include a quick reply option; as a result, you cannot respond to them.
Health Monitoring
Fire-Boltt Tank performs very well in terms of health monitoring.
It provides you heart rate tracker, spo2 monitor, sleep quality monitor and blood pressure monitor.
Their accuracy is quite good and supports the wear detection feature, which does not give you false readings on non-living things.
Apart from this, dedicated cycle trackers are also available for women, which makes it an ideal smartwatch for women as well.
Sports Modes
The Fire-Boltt Tank is a great option for those engrossed in fitness activities.
It houses 123 sports modes you can directly access through the function buttons.
You will not need an app to analyze their data because you get to see the option of exercise records.
Battery Life & Charging
The Fire-Boltt Tank smartwatch can provide approximately five days of battery life under typical usage conditions.
However, if you frequently use the Bluetooth calling feature, you can expect the battery life to be reduced to 1 and 2 days.
It is worth noting that the Fire-Boltt Tank does not offer fast charging support, and it can take up to 2 hours to charge the device fully.
App Functionalities
To connect the Fire-Boltt Tank to your smartphone, you need to download the Da Fit app.
If you are experiencing difficulties with the pairing process, refer to a guide on how to connect the Fire-Boltt smartwatch to a phone.
This app allows you to analyze the data of health and fitness features in one place, and also, through this, you can change watch faces and customize the settings of the smartwatch.
Other Features
In addition to its core features and functions, the Fire-Boltt Tank offers a range of additional features that can enhance the user experience.
These may include controlling the camera and music and accessing a weather forecast.
The smartwatch also includes built-in games and a calculator, which can provide entertainment and practicality, respectively.
Who Should Consider And Who Shouldn’t
If you want a sporty smartwatch that performs well in health and fitness, then the Fire-Boltt Tank is for you.
On the other hand, if the build quality of the smartwatch matters to you, then it would be better to avoid it.
