In my experience, the Dizo Watch D Ultra is a solid smartwatch that has a lot to offer.
One of the best features for me was the AMOLED display – it delivers incredibly sharp image quality and really makes the smartwatch stand out.
The User Interface is also very smooth, which made the overall experience enjoyable.
If you’re someone who values a high-quality display in a smartwatch, I’d definitely recommend giving the Dizo Watch D Ultra a try.

Design & Build Quality
If you prefer an elegant and minimal design, you will find Dizo Watch D Ultra very attractive.
On one side of this smartwatch, you get to see a power button and mic while on the other side, you will get the speaker, while the backside houses a charging point and sensors.
The smartwatch also has a 2.5D curved glass which further enhances its look.
In the Dizo Watch D Ultra, you get a metallic frame which gives it a premium build quality.
Plus, it comes with soft silicone straps which you can replace with any other 22mm quick-release strap.
All in all, the Dizo Watch D Ultra is an amazing smartwatch from a design and build quality standpoint.
Its square dial and AMOLED display gives it a unique look, it is well-crafted, and has a premium feel.
Additionally, one of the best things about it is that it’s not too bulky which makes it a great option for those with smaller wrists as well.
Display & UI
The most attractive aspect of the Dizo Watch D Ultra smartwatch is its display.
In this, you get to see a 1.78-inch AMOLED display which comes with a resolution of 368×448 px.
If you do outdoor activities, its 500 nits brightness will be enough to make the display visible.
Since it has an AMOLED display, you will also get to see the support of an always-on display, by which you can use two different watch faces – analog and digital.
Although nowadays smartwatches like Fire-Boltt Infinity are also available which allow all their watch faces to be used as always-on display.
There’s no question about it that the Dizo Watch D Ultra’s display is pretty solid, but, from my perspective, Dizo could have done a bit more work on the bezels.
The bezels on this smartwatch are quite thick, and I feel that this takes away from the overall look of the display.
Now, let’s take a look at its UI as well.
To access the notifications, simply swipe down from the top of the screen. To bring up the menu, swipe up from the bottom. For quick access to your widgets, swipe left, and to access the control panel, swipe right.
In this, you do not get to see the 60Hz panel but despite this, its user experience is very good and you will not feel any kind of lag while using it.
Besides this, if you want to go for a 60Hz panel, you can also consider Dizo Watch D Pro or Noise Colorfit Pro 4 Alpha.
Watch Faces
In Dizo Watch D Ultra, you get to see more than 150 cloud-based watch faces which you can install through its companion app.
In the app, you will get to see a dedicated watch face section where all these watch faces are given in different categories.
Although this smartwatch also has around five built-in watch faces which you can change by tapping & hold on to the display.
Additionally, it also allows you to set a custom watch face.
Bluetooth Calling & Notifications
Dizo Watch D Ultra is a budget-calling smartwatch that comes with a single chipset, so you don’t need a separate Bluetooth connectivity for the calling feature.
This feature directly affects the calling function and ensures that you get the best calling experience.
You can make or receive calls, check your call history, and save your favorite contacts through this smartwatch.
Although there is no call transfer feature available which disappointed me, you can only cut or mute the call.
On the plus side, the Dizo Watch D Ultra does support quick notifications, so you can stay on top of what’s happening on your smartphone.
However, one downside is that you can’t reply to those notifications directly from the smartwatch.
Health Monitoring
With Dizo Watch D Ultra, you can stay on top of your health with health parameters like a real-time heart rate monitor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracker, step counter, and calorie tracker.
In terms of heart rate and SpO2, this smartwatch is quite accurate and the most interesting thing is that it comes with a wear detection feature which prevents it from taking false readings on non-living things.
Sports Modes
The Dizo Watch D Ultra comes with over 100 sports modes that allow you to track a wide variety of fitness activities.
However, it’s worth noting that these modes are not all built-in to the smartwatch.
Some of them will need to be accessed via its companion app.
Additionally, when you add a new mode, it will replace one of the built-in modes, meaning you can’t use all the modes at the same time.
From my perspective, this may not be a major inconvenience for those who don’t heavily engage in fitness activities, but for more avid fitness enthusiasts, it might be something to keep in mind.
One more thing, the Dizo Watch D Ultra does not have swimming mode, so if you do swimming then it proves to be a drawback for you.
Additionally, it gets an IP68 water-resistant rating that protects it against splashes and heavy rain, so it won’t be a problem if you take a shower wearing it.
Battery Life & Charging
In the Dizo Watch D Ultra smartwatch, you get to see a 270 mAh battery capacity, so it can last for about 7 days in typical usage.
But with Bluetooth calling and an always-on display, you can use it for a maximum of one to two days.
Additionally, it does not support fast charging and takes around 2 hours to charge.
App Functionalities
You’ll need the Dizo Sport app to connect the Dizo Watch D Ultra to your phone.
With the help of this app, you will be able to access your health and fitness parameters directly from the home page.
In the rest of its tabs, you will get the smartwatch’s settings such as reminders, notification apps, alarms, etc., and your profile.
Other Features
Apart from all this, the Dizo Watch D Ultra offers many other features like reminders, camera control, music control, weather, stopwatch, find my watch, find phone, etc.
Also, you will get multiple language support including Hindi.
However, you may miss some features like a calculator and games.
Who Should Consider And Who Shouldn’t
If you want a square-dial smartwatch that has solid build quality, offers an AMOLED display, and allows you to get new looks every day, the Dizo Watch D Ultra is the best option.
On the other hand, if you are looking for premium features like GPS or internal storage then this is not for you.
