Fire-Boltt Ring 3 Review: Large Display with Bluetooth Calling
In the Ring series of Fire-Boltt, we see a few Bluetooth calling smartwatches; recently, a new smartwatch has been added – The Fire-Boltt Ring 3.
But this time, its highlight aspect is not the calling feature but its large display.
Yes, we get to see a large 1.8-inch display in the Fire-boltt Ring 3, which makes it one of the best Bluetooth calling smartwatches with the largest display.
I have already reviewed several other calling smartwatches like:
And today, I am going to talk about the new Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch.
It is available in 6 colors (Navy, Black, Gold-Black, Grey, Rose-Gold, and Silver-Starlight) and has been launched in the budget range of under 4000.
So without delay, let’s start the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 review.

- Subscription cards
- Magnetic charging cable
Design & Build Quality
The design of this Fire-Boltt smartwatch is very similar to that of the Apple Watch.
Since this is a calling smartwatch, we also see the mic and speaker in it.
The crown button is given on the watch’s right side, which comes with a rotating mechanism through which you can change watch faces.
The charging point and all the sensors are provided on the watch’s backside, which makes health monitoring easy.
In addition, we notice the metal frame all around the watch, which leads to sturdy build quality.
I prefer a smartwatch with a metal build; although the metal adds a bit to the weight of the watch, it provides a very comfortable and premium feel.
Let us tell you that the total weight of the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch is about 57 grams, which may seem more to some people, but it is pretty comfortable to wear.
It has been given very soft silicone straps, so there will be no problem wearing it for a long time.
These are replaceable straps that you can replace with any other strap.
Here are some premium straps that you can consider.
In short, despite its large size, the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 is comfortable due to the metal build and soft silicone straps, and I also found its design quite attractive.
What do you have to say about this? Do tell me in the comments.

Display & UI
To turn on the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch, you have to press and hold the crown button, after which the watch turns on.
To access it, you have to take the help of an app which we will discuss in a separate section.
As I already told you, this watch has a large 1.8-inch HD display with 240×286 px resolution.
This watch does not have an AMOLED display, but the TFT panel has done a great job giving excellent sharpness and brightness to the display.
Although I could not find any information about the brightness level on the company’s official site, but you can easily use it in indoor-outdoor conditions.
On the other hand, those who prefer a bezel-less display will like it a lot as it uses minimal bezels, although the bezels are given at the bottom.
I have used it for more than a week, and until now, I did not feel any lag due to the fast touch response.
And now, let’s talk about its UI.
You can access the notification panel by swiping up on the home screen, while swiping down will open the control panel.
In the control panel, there are several toggle buttons with connection status and battery status, such as:
- Calling enable/disable
- Brightness
- Draining water feature*
- Menu view
- Flashlight
- Setting
*This feature proves to be helpful in flushing out the water-filled in your watch.
Since the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 has an IP67 rating, it can cause water to enter the speakers.
So if water gets into the speakers for any reason, the speakers will vibrate as soon as you turn this toggle button on, and the water will drain out quickly.
In addition, there are some shortcut cards for swiping left:
- Calling options
- Activity
- AI voice assistant
- Heart rate monitoring
- Music control
Apart from this, a good feature is that you can edit these shortcut cards, whether you want to delete a card or add another.
And finally, you can access the entire menu view by swiping right.
By the way, let me tell you that in this Fire-Boltt’s watch, we have been given a total of 3 types of menu styles:
- Honeycomb
- List
- Grid
And you can easily change them by going to the Control Panel.
In the menu view section, we have been given a lot of options, most of which are essential, while some we will discuss in the dedicated sections.
In short, I liked the UI of the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch, which doesn’t show any stutter or lags, and its three menu style is also a nice feature.

Health Monitoring
We mainly use our smartwatch to measure heart rate or oxygen in the blood.
The Fire-Boltt Ring 3 has dedicated sensors for HR and SpO2, which make its data entirely accurate.
I did heart rate and SpO2 monitoring with this watch and got almost accurate data.
Let me tell you that I used a medical device to check the accuracy of its data, and both readings were almost identical.
So if you don’t have any medical equipment, you can rely on the health data of this Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch.
However, it would be better to use the data of the smartwatch only for taking ideas.
That said, you can access all the data by going to the menu view, but with the help of its compatible app, it is effortless to access all the data.
In short, the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch delivers health monitoring with great accuracy.
Bluetooth Calling
Fire-Boltt Ring 3 is a Bluetooth calling smartwatch in which we have been given an in-built mic and speakers so that we can enjoy calling even without a smartphone.
In addition to the call receive/decline, the watch has the option of volume up/down, but unfortunately, we were not given the option of quick reply, which is an important feature.
Although I never felt the need for a quick reply option, many people find it an essential feature.
So it is a big disappointment for them.
Apart from this, on receiving the call, we get to see the caller’s name and options for mute/unmute, call transfer, and volume up/down.
Before discussing the calling experience, let me tell you that we are also allowed to access the calling settings, where many options are given.
Here we can also change the ring modes and vibration intensity.
On the other hand, talking about the calling experience, the overall experience will be outstanding in indoor conditions, but there can be problems in outdoor conditions.
I liked the quality of the mic here, due to which your voice is delivered with excellent quality, which is good for this segment.
In short, the calling experience of the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch is going to be great.

Sports Modes
Are you a sports lover?
If yes, you will love the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch.
The reason for this is the 118 sports modes that we see in this watch, which is the highest in this segment.
To access these modes, you can use the watch’s shortcut cards and the menu view.
Watch Faces
In the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch, you can change the watch faces by tapping and holding on the home screen and with the help of the crown button.
However, to access the entire library of watch faces, you need to take the help of the compatible app.
Let me tell you that you can also use a custom watch face, which is an excellent thing.
App Support
To connect the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch to your smartphone, you need to download the Da Fit app, after which you will be able to pair it.
With the help of this app, it is straightforward to access health monitoring data or install new watch faces from the watch face library.
Along with this, this app also allows us to customize many different settings of the watch.
Battery & Charging
First, if I talk about the company, they have claimed about seven days of battery life, which is possible only if you turn off most of the features.
But if you are continuously using the calling feature and other options like heart rate and spo2 monitoring, up to 3 days of the battery can be expected.
Although we expect a long battery life in a smartwatch, considering the rest of the features and price of this watch, it is justified.
On the other hand, if we talk about charging, we get a magnetic charging cable with it, which charges it in about 2 hours.
However, fast charging support has not been provided in it, which I was expecting.
Comfortability
The Fire-Boltt Ring 3 is a large display smartwatch with a metal build.
Due to the metal build, it weighs a bit, but it is not at all uncomfortable to wear.
But if your wrist size is small, you will find it very uncomfortable as it has a large dial.
At the same time, good-quality straps have also been used, which you can replace with any other strap for your convenience.
Overall, the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch is quite comfortable, and you will not face any problems.
Other Features
After knowing about all the essential features, let’s talk about those features that make our work very easy, like the weather forecast.
In this watch, we can not only get information about the current weather but also know about the coming days.
Let me tell you that an in-built calculator has also been given in this watch which I found very useful.
We often have to use the smartphone repeatedly to do small calculations but not anymore.
The Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch comes with a calculator, which in my opinion, is an excellent feature.
Apart from this, some games have also been given, which can be entertained for free.
By the way, which did you find the most exciting feature of Fire-Boltt Ring 3? Do tell me in the comments.
Who Should Consider
Now let’s talk about those who should consider the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 smartwatch.
First of all, if you are looking for a calling smartwatch, go for this one as I found the quality of its mic and speaker outstanding.
There is no problem with calling at all.
Second, if you’re looking for a smartwatch with a more prominent display, the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 is an excellent option as it has a large 1.8-inch HD display.
Third, if you are busy doing sports activities, you can consider it as it comes with a total of 118 sports modes, providing data with reasonable accuracy.
Who Should Avoid
Now there are some people here who should avoid this watch.
First, if your wrist size is small, it is better to ignore it as its big display will make you look worse.
Instead, you can go for Amazfit GTS2 Mini.
Second, if you want a smartwatch with long battery life, avoid it as it offers an average battery life of 3 days and lacks the fast charging feature of the Noise Colorfit Pro 3 Alpha.
