Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus Review: The Successor of Ninja Call 2
Today I am bringing the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus, which I have been using for several days, and now we are going to discuss it in more detail.
Earlier this year, Fire-Boltt launched the Ninja Call 2 smartwatch, which was a huge success, and now the company has launched its successor – the Ninja Call 2 Plus.
This smartwatch stands out with its unique music storage feature, which is not available on any other smartwatch in its class.
In this review, we will evaluate the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus, discussing its features and drawbacks to help you decide if it’s the right smartwatch for you.

Design & Build Quality
The design of the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus smartwatch is similar to other Fire-Boltt smartwatches, with the crown button and microphone on one side and the speaker on the other. At the same time, sensors and charging points are given on the backside.
In this, you do not see the working crown button, and you can only use it to go to the menu, which disappoints me.
In terms of build quality, the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus features a metallic frame that adds durability and solidity to the smartwatch.
Apart from this, you get to see 22mm soft silicone straps, which have decent quality, and you can also replace them with other straps.
In short, the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus turns out to be pretty significant in terms of design and build quality.
Display & UI
The Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus has a 1.83-inch display with a resolution of 240×284 pixels. At the same time, a brightness of 500 nits has also been given to it, making its display easily visible even in bright outdoor conditions.
In this, you will also get to see 2.5D curved glass, which enhances the look of the smartwatch.
Apart from this, you do not get to see the bezel-less display in this, but the exciting thing is that the smartwatch is based on a dark theme, so you will not have any problem with bezels.
Along with this, its wake gesture feature also works decently.
On the other hand, if we talk about UI, you will see the typical Fire-Boltt UI, which provides you with a dedicated control panel, notification panel and widget section.
Its overall UI experience will feel decent to you; since it is a TFT display, you will not get to see that much better color accuracy, but still, you will get a good experience.
If you prefer premium display quality, just look at these best AMOLED display smartwatches.
Watch Faces
Fire-Boltt has always been providing a lot of options to users in terms of watch faces.
You also get to see more than 100 cloud-based watch faces in Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus, which you can use through its companion app.
You have also been given about 6 built-in watch faces, which you can change through a long tap on the screen.
Bluetooth Calling & Notifications
Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus is a Bluetooth calling smartwatch which is its most highlighted feature.
It can provide a decent calling experience, and although you will not get that much better experience in crowded places, it works better indoors.
Apart from this, you can also see the dedicated notification panel, which you can access by swiping up.
Although, this smartwatch does not provide quick replies and emoji support.
To sum up, Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus performs decently in terms of calling features and will provide a decent experience.
Health Monitoring
You can see the following health features in the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus smartwatch.
- Heart rate monitor
- SpO2 monitor
- Sleep monitoring
- Female cycle tracker
- Meditative breathing
The Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus offers reliable heart rate and spO2 monitoring, although it should not be relied upon for medical purposes. However, it can provide a general idea of your heart rate and oxygen levels.
Unfortunately, you do not get to see the option of stress monitoring, but if you are engrossed in yoga, its meditative breathing feature can be helpful for you.
In addition to its other features, the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus also includes a female cycle tracker, making it an ideal smartwatch for women.
Sports Modes
You can see 27 sports modes in the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus smartwatch, which is enough for a sports enthusiast. In this, you get to see in-depth information in every sports mode.
While the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus is IP67 water resistant, it is not suitable for swimming.
If you’re looking for a smartwatch that can withstand swimming, consider checking out these top 5 ATM smartwatches instead.
To sum up, the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus offers solid fitness performance with a good selection of sports modes. However, its water resistance could be improved.
Battery Life & Charging
The Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus is advertised as having a battery life of up to 10 days.
However, during my use, I found that it lasted only about 3 days with moderate use, including calling and using sports modes.
In this guide, I will share some tips that I found helpful in extending the smartwatch’s battery life up to 7 to 8 days.
Plus, it takes about two hours to charge.
App Functionalities
You will need the Da Fit app to connect the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus smartwatch to your phone. For more details, see my step-by-step guide on how to connect the Fire-Boltt smartwatch to your phone.
This app allows you to analyze all the health and fitness data. This app allows you to use different watch faces and customize the smartwatch settings.
The app’s user-friendly interface makes it easy to use and navigate.
Other Features
Despite its affordable price, the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus offers a range of premium features that you wouldn’t normally expect in a low-budget smartwatch.
One of the standout features of the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus is its ability to store music, allowing you to play your favorite songs directly from the smartwatch. This feature is also available on the Fire-Boltt Visionary.
Apart from this, you also get to see basic features like built-in games, find phone, a stopwatch and an alarm. However, it does not offer a calculator.
Who Should Consider And Who Shouldn’t
The Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus offers a range of features that make it a strong contender in its price range, particularly if you’re looking for a low-cost smartwatch with calling capabilities and music storage.
However, if you place a high value on an AMOLED display and waterproofing, you may want to consider other options.
Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus Best Alternative
Fire-Boltt Ring 3
While many great smartwatches are available in this price range, the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 is a robust alternative to the Fire-Boltt Ninja Call 2 Plus.
Both smartwatches have pretty similar features, but Fire-Boltt Ring 3 proves to be better in terms of sports modes; also, you get to see the built-in calculator.
While the Fire-Boltt Ring 3 lacks the music storage feature, it offers several other attractive features. You can find more information about them here.
- Attractive design
- Large 1.8-inch display
- 118 sports mode
