Design & Build Quality

Pebble Frost comes with a beautiful design which is somewhere inspired by Apple Watch.

On the side of the smartwatch, you see a multi-functional crown button and a function button, while the backside houses the sensors and the charging point.

Pebble Frost Design

One advantage of having the Crown button is that you can efficiently perform many different activities like changing watch faces or scrolling content.

On the other hand, if we talk about build quality, then in this budget, this smartwatch provides you with a metallic frame, which is a big deal.

Overall, in terms of design and build quality, the Pebble Frost turns out to be great and looks like a premium smartwatch.

Display & UI

The Pebble Frost boasts a spacious 1.87-inch display, making it one of the best smartwatches with a large screen.

Obviously, you will not get to see an AMOLED display at this price point, but the exciting thing is that despite having an HD display, you get to see outstanding quality.

Pebble Frost Display

By the way, if you want better display quality, you should have a look at these AMOLED smartwatches.

Let me tell you that this smartwatch has a narrow-bezel curved display, which comes out quite prominently and provides a premium, stylish look.

Its wake gesture also works well, and even you can keep the display on for a maximum of 60 seconds, which I found to be a very nice feature.

On the other hand, if we talk about user experience, you will not feel at all that you are using a low-budget smartwatch; the resolution is not that high but sufficient to provide you decent smoothness.

One thing I found interesting in this is that this smartwatch allows you to use five different menu styles, so if you are bored of seeing the same menu style over and over again, you will surely enjoy it.

Also, you don’t get to see the widget section, due to which you have to access features like health monitoring through the menu. I found it a drawback because you have to enable the menu repeatedly, which annoys you a bit somewhere.

In short, Pebble Frost manages to provide a much better display and UI. Without a doubt, you will have a great experience.

Watch Faces

The watch face section of the Pebble Frost smartwatch is quite interesting.

Actually, you do not need to long tap on the screen to change watch faces, just swipe left and set your favourite watch face. Apart from this, with the help of the crown button, you will also be able to change the built-in watch faces.

At the same time, with the help of the companion app of the Pebble Frost smartwatch, you can use the rest of its watch faces as well; this app also gives you the facility of watch face customization.

Bluetooth Calling & Notifications

Pebble Frost is a calling smartwatch which makes it quite special; on the side of the smartwatch, you get to see the mic and speaker, ensuring a better calling experience.

During the calling test, I got an excellent experience from it, but if you use it in a crowded place, you might get a bad experience.

Although the speaker’s sound is loud and clear, making it easy to listen, in my experience, it proves to be better in indoor conditions.

You also get notifications from almost all social media apps besides texts and calls. However, you can configure them through the app.

In this, you do not see the support of quick replies and emojis; you are only allowed to read the notifications.

To sum up, you will have a smooth calling experience with the Pebble Frost smartwatch, and at the same time, you will get notifications quickly.

Health Monitoring

The Pebble Frost smartwatch allows you to do heart rate tracking, spo2 monitoring and sleep monitoring.

Pebble Frost Health Monitoring

Pebble Frost proves to be accurate to a great extent in heart rate, but you will see fluctuations in measuring blood oxygen. The same story is also seen with sleep monitoring.

I found Pebble Frost to be less effective regarding the accuracy of overall health parameters. Since health monitoring is critical, so I suggest you use a medical device.

Although you can use it to get ideas, but you must not use it for medical purposes at all.

Sports Modes

Pebble Frost is perfect for sports enthusiasts, as you see about 60 sports modes.

Although this smartwatch only gives you a little in-depth information about your activity, but its multiple modes will prove to be very useful.

On the other hand, if we talk about the step counter and calorie counter, it would be foolish to expect accuracy because no smartwatch in this segment provides you accurate step counter; even the Apple Watch sometimes gives you inaccuracies.

However, due to the Pebble Frost smartwatch being IP67 water resistant, you will not be able to use it for swimming.

Well, you can go for these best smartwatches for swimming.

In short, if you do different sports activities, then it will be beneficial for you.

Battery Life & Charging

I got almost three days of battery backup while using Pebble Frost.

During this, I did a calling test, health monitoring test and sports test with it, so you can assume that if you use it carefully, you can extend the battery life of this smartwatch to about five days.

At the same time, it takes about two hours to charge because it does not come with fast charging support.

App Functionalities

To connect the Pebble Frost smartwatch to the phone, you need to download the HryFine app.

This app can give you information about all your health parameters and sports activity data.

Additionally, the app allows you to install watch faces, customize them, enable/disable notification apps, or sync contacts.

Other Features

Apart from all this, the Pebble Frost smartwatch also has some basic features that prove helpful in more ways than one.

Swiping right on a smartwatch brings up the sidebar, a feature the Fire-Boltt Ring Pro also offers. It allows you to access your recent apps directly.

You also get to see the built-in calculator, which allows on-the-go calculations.

Along with this, it also allows you to set a password, so if you are concerned about privacy, this feature is going to be useful for you.

Apart from these, you can also see features like music control, camera control, find my phone, zen mode (breathe mode), and voice assistant.

Who Should Consider And Who Shouldn’t

Pebble Frost is for you if you want a smartwatch in the low-budget segment that offers metallic build quality and Bluetooth calling features with an Apple Watch design.

On the other hand, if health monitoring is your most critical aspect, you should avoid it.
