Fire-Boltt Neptune Review: A Budget Smartwatch with 5ATM Water Resistant
In this blog, we will talk about the Fire-Boltt Neptune budget smartwatch.
Fire-Boltt has been continuously launching Bluetooth calling smartwatches for a long time, but now the people who want a non-Bluetooth calling smartwatch have been thought of.
What I found most appealing about the Fire-Boltt Neptune is that it has been launched in a low-budget segment that already has a lot of popularity with smartwatches like the boAt Wave Lite and Fire-Boltt Ninja Pro Max Plus.
So will it prove to be a useful smartwatch in this segment?
Let’s find out.
Fire-Boltt Neptune Review
What’s in the Box
- Watch
- User manual
- Magnetic charger
- Warranty card
Design & Build Quality
At first impression, the design of the Fire-Boltt Neptune looks quite good.
It has a navigation crown button on the right side, while some sensors and a charging point are at the rear.
On the other hand, when it comes to straps, I found their quality very good; there are very soft silicone straps in which metal buckles have been used.
Also, if we talk about the watch case, polycarbonate plastic has been used, due to which its total weight remains only 40 grams.
So it is a lightweight watch that is very comfortable to wear.

Display & UI
The Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch has a 1.69-inch full-touch display with a resolution of 240×280 px, which enhances the display quality and color accuracy.
While the display is quite bright, I have also used it in outdoor conditions where I could see it properly.
But one thing that disappointed me is that we get to see very large bezels, which makes the dial unnecessarily large.
i) Swipe Functionalities
Let me now talk about the swipe functionalities of the Fire-Boltt Neptune.
Swiping down on the home screen will allow you to access the Control Panel, which displays the battery and connectivity status as well as toggle buttons such as:
- Connectivity
- Vibration
- Flashlight
- Theater mode
- Brightness
- Weather
- Settings
In addition, by swiping left, we will be able to use its shortcut cards like:
- Step counter
- Sleep tracking
- Heart rate tracking
- Exercise
- Weather
- Shutter control
- Music player
Whereas by swiping right or swiping up, we will be able to access its menu section.
ii) Menu Section
You have to swipe up or swipe right to access the menu section in the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch, where two different menu styles are available:
- Grid style (swipe right)
- List style (swipe up)
In the Menu section, we get to see many useful features and options like:
- Messages
- Sports
- Sleep
- Measure HR
- Exercise
- Spo2
- Weather
- Shutter
- Player
- Breathe
- Flashlight
- Games
- Settings
And in this way, you can access all the watch features with the help of this menu section.

Sports Modes
About 118 sports modes are seen in the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch, which you can access by going to the exercise tab.
There are two ways to access this tab: shortcut cards and the menu section where dedicated exercise tabs are seen.
Here we also get to see the swimming mode as it has a 5ATM waterproof rating, which you can take in water up to a depth of about 50 meters, and this feature makes it better than other smartwatches in this segment.
Watch Faces
In the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch, we see more than 175 watch faces that you can install with the help of the app.
On the other hand, this Fire-Boltt smartwatch has 11 in-built watch faces, which you can set directly from the watch by long tapping.
Here we are also allowed to customize the watch faces.
Notifications
The Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch supports smart notifications.
You can select all the apps from which you want to receive notifications through the app.
All social media apps are available here, which is a great thing.
But unfortunately, we do not get the feature of quick reply, due to which we can only see the notifications.

Health Monitoring
The Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch has heart rate tracking, spo2 monitoring, and sleep tracking options, but there is no option for stress monitoring.
I have used its heart rate and spo2 features, and I would like to say that this watch provides very good data according to the budget.
I found a difference of a point or two in comparing medical equipment so that you can expect an accuracy of around 90-95% from this watch.
Also, talking about its step count feature, I got to see accuracy of about 80%.
Look, this watch has been launched in a low-budget segment, so we cannot expect perfect accuracy.
Talking about its overall health features, the Fire-Boltt Neptune does a great job.
App Functionalities
To connect the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch to your smartphone, you need to download the Da Fit app.
On the app’s home page, we can check the data of all fitness options like steps, heart rate, or spo2.
By going to the watch section, you can access many features of the watch like watch faces, notifications, alarms, shutter, reminders, etc.
Apart from this, this watch also allows you to sync with the Google Fit app.
Battery & Charging
I have used the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch continuously for about 1 week, and I can say that if you use it with basic features, it will provide about 6 days of battery life.
Whereas if used heavily, you can expect a battery of 3 to 4 days.
But the interesting thing is that this watch supports fast charging, which makes it fully charged in just 60 minutes.
For charging, you are given a magnetic charger.

Comfortability
The Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatches are very comfortable to wear for two main reasons; First, the use of polycarbonate plastic has reduced its overall weight significantly.
And second, soft silicone straps that don’t irritate after wearing.
But if you have very thin wrists, you will find this watch a bit uncomfortable due to its large dial.
But if you have a medium or thick wrist, it will be your best companion.
Other Features
Apart from all this, the Fire-Boltt Neptune smartwatch has amazing features like in-built games.
In this, we see 3 games (2048, thunder battleship, and young bird).
This watch comes with raise to wake feature, which works decently, but the interesting thing is as soon as you lower the wrist, the display turns off automatically.
It also gets useful features like camera control, music control, alarm, and reminders.
Who Should Consider
Now let’s talk about those for whom this watch will prove to be a value-for-money deal.
Look, if you want a simple budget smartwatch that is lightweight and comes with a lot of watch faces, then you can consider it.
Second, if you believe in sports, you can go for it.
Third, if battery life is important to you, this can be a good option as it also supports fast charging with long battery life.
And fourth, if you’re looking for a budget waterproof smartwatch, the Fire-Boltt Neptune is a great choice.
Who Should Avoid
But those people who should avoid this watch are as follows.
First, if you want to go for a Bluetooth-calling smartwatch, then avoid it.
Second, if you want a smartwatch with strong metal builds equipped with an AMOLED display, you should not go for it.
And third, if the quick reply feature is very important to you, you need to go for the Noise ColorFit Pulse Grand instead.
