Design & Build Quality

As I told you in the beginning, the design of Fire-Boltt Ring Plus is its biggest highlight feature.

You get to see the metal frame, which improves its overall build quality.

Fire-Boltt Ring Plus Design

On the right side of the smartwatch, you have a rotating crown button and a mic, while on the left side, you can see the speaker; Along with this, you will get to see some sensors and a charging point in the backside.

One interesting thing about it is that this smartwatch has 22mm sliding straps, which you can see in the Apple Watch.

The advantage of this is that you can also use Apple Watch straps in this Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch.

And because the market is full of Apple Watch straps, you’ll have many options to choose from.

In short, both the design and build quality of the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch are best-in-segment, and you won’t have any complaints with it.

Display & UI

The smartwatch brand has highlighted the display of the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch, the biggest reason being that it has one of the largest displays in the segment.

This Fire-Boltt smartwatch shows a large 1.91-inch HD display with a standard resolution of 240×280 px.

Although this smartwatch does not offer an AMOLED display, I have made a list of the best AMOLED display smartwatches for you; give that a read.

You will get to see 2.5D curved glass on display, and in fact, you will see very sharp curves in it, making it look like a premium smartwatch.

Fire-Boltt Ring Plus Display

Along with this, it has 500 nits of brightness, making it very easy for you to use it outdoors.

The best thing I found in this is that you see very minimal bezels, which enhance its overall look.

One advantage of this is that you get to see the large display, but the overall size of the smartwatch is a manageable size, so it suits both men and women.

Let’s now take a look at the UI of the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch.

By swiping down on the smartwatch, you can access the control panel, where you can see options like brightness control, DND mode, setting etc.

Swipe left brings you to the widget section where you can get direct access to options like sleep tracking, heart rate, spo2 monitoring and more.

The good thing about the Widget section is that you also get to see the feature of adding more widgets which proves to be very useful for me.

On swiping right, you see the sidebar, which gives information about recently used apps.

Also, with a swipe up, you can go to the menu section of the smartwatch.

You can see the grid-style menu by default, but you can also change it from the list-style menu.

This smartwatch offers only two menu styles, but if you prefer more menu styles, you can also consider Pebble Cosmos Prime, which gives you more than 11 menu styles.

You can access all the options of the smartwatch through this menu section.

Watch Faces

Most of the Fire-Boltt smartwatches offer multiple watch faces.

You can also see more than 100 watch faces in the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch, which you can download through the app.

However, you can see some in-built watch faces in the smartwatch, which you can use directly.

To use these watch faces, you can long tap on the screen or even rotate the crown button to change watch faces, allowing you to use watch faces on the go.

If you want to customize watch faces, you can do it through the app; customized watch faces also look beautiful due to good display quality.

Bluetooth Calling

Bluetooth calling is one of the most important features of any smartwatch.

Since the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus is a Bluetooth calling smartwatch, I have used it many times and got a good experience, providing this smartwatch with the cleanest mic and loudest speaker in its segment.

The smartwatch also allows you to make direct calls and add some contacts through the app.

Apart from this, you will also be able to check your calling history on this smartwatch.

Sports Modes

The Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch offers you over 100 sports modes that you can access from the menu section.

All you have to do is tap on any mode to turn it on, and the smartwatch will start tracking your activity.

In these sports modes, you get to see a lot of in-depth information, which you can also analyze through the app.

Health Monitoring

You can see many different health monitoring options in the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch.

This smartwatch offers heart rate tracking, spo2 monitoring and sleep monitoring, but unfortunately, it does not support blood pressure monitoring.

The Fire-Boltt Ring Plus delivers pretty accurate results in terms of heart rate and spo2 monitoring.

Fire-Boltt Ring Plus Heart Rate & Spo2 Monitoring

I have also compared the data of this smartwatch with medical equipment and Apple Watch Series 7, and all the data are similar to each other, which shows its accuracy.

Although I was a little disappointed with sleep monitoring because this smartwatch tracked my movie sessions as sleep, due to which I received sleep monitoring data inaccurately.

However, this problem is also seen in other budget smartwatches.

But one thing that you will miss in this smartwatch is the wear detection feature.

This feature shows you an error when you do heart rate or spo2 monitoring without wearing a smartwatch.

Apart from this, the smartwatch comes with a female health care suite while it also gets sedentary & drink water reminders.

But if you are particularly conscious about female health, you can also go for these smartwatches which offer female health features.

App Functionalities

To use all the features of the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch, you need to pair it with your phone through the Da Fit app.

If needed, you can take the help of the following guide in which I have explained the step-by-step process of connecting Fire-Boltt smartwatches to the phone.

This app provides a very simple UI where you get to see three different sections.

  • Report – In the first tab, you will see all the health monitoring options and sports activities data.
  • Device – This tab allows you to access all the settings associated with your smartwatch.
  • Profile – This tab lets you set your profile and future goals.

Battery Life & Charging

Regarding the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus, the company claims that this smartwatch can last for about eight days in normal usage, while you can use it for 1 to 2 days using Bluetooth calling.

You do not see the support for fast charging, which takes about 2 hours to charge.

With the smartwatch, you also get to see a magnetic charging cable.

Other Features

Apart from all these features, you can also see additional features in the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch.

This smartwatch comes with a wake gesture which works very fast; as soon as you twist the wrist, the display turns on.

In this, you get to see the IP67 water rating, which makes the smartwatch dustproof and can be prevented from water to some extent, but it would have been better if there was an IP68 rating.

You can also check out these top waterproof smartwatches.

Apart from this, you also get to see the voice assistant feature so that you can control the smartwatch with your voice.

This smartwatch also offers you three built-in games that you are allowed to add as widgets.

Who Should Consider

Now let’s talk about those who should consider the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus smartwatch.

First, if you’re attracted to smartwatches with large displays, the Fire-Boltt Ring Plus is for you.

Second, if you have a low budget, you can use this smartwatch.

You can also consider the following budget guides:

Third, if attractive design and metal build quality are what matters to you, then go for it.

Fourth, this smartwatch will be a good option if you are looking for Bluetooth calling features.

Who Should Avoid

Some of the people who should not consider this smartwatch are as follows.

First, if you like smartwatches with plastic frames, don’t go for this one.

Second, if the Bluetooth calling feature is unimportant to you, look for other options.

Fire-Boltt Ring Plus Review: Conclusion
