Fire-Boltt Visionary Review: The Best Calling Smartwatch
Fire-Boltt launched another Bluetooth calling smartwatch, the Fire-Boltt Visionary, which we will talk about today.
I have been using it for some time now, and some of its features stunned me as no other smartwatch offers such features at the price it has been launched.
I have also tested several other Fire-Boltt calling smartwatches in the past, such as:
But some features of the Fire-Boltt Visionary make it different from other Fire-Boltt smartwatches.
Fire-Boltt has been continuously expanding its portfolio by launching smartwatches on a competitive budget, increasing its dominance in this segment.
Because of this, Other brands are reducing their prices, which is a matter of happiness for us as customers.
But we’ll talk about this again sometime because today I have a Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch in my hand.
So let’s start the review and find out whether this smartwatch will be able to perform better than the rest in this competition or not.
Update: Fire-Boltt has unveiled its latest models, Visionary Pro and Visionary Ultra. While both share similar features, the Pro edition boasts a magnetic strap, and the Ultra edition features a stainless steel strap.
Fire-Boltt Visionary Review
The Bottom Line
The Fire-Boltt Visionary is an excellent smartwatch with premium segment features on a meager budget.
In this watch, we get a large 1.78-inch AMOLED display that provides a high resolution of 368×448 px, greatly enhancing the display quality.
We see two types of always-on display, analog and digital, and I found this helpful feature.
Those looking for a budget Bluetooth calling smartwatch consider this as its mic and speaker quality is better than all the other smartwatches in this segment.
To be sure, I am delighted with the Fire-Boltt Visionary Bluetooth calling smartwatch, be it design, display, or features.

Design & Build Quality
First, if we talk about the design, the Fire-Boltt has done a great job in the Fire-Boltt Visionary.
If you have seen Apple Watch Series 7, you will find that we have been given a crown and a button.
Similarly, in the Fire-Boltt Visionary, you also see a crown and a button, enhancing its overall look.
Also, a mic is provided between the two, while the speaker grill is seen on the other side, which makes it easy to use the calling feature.
At the same time, all the sensors and charging points are seen on the back side of the watch, which we will talk about in the dedicated sections.
Apart from this, one more feature is exceptional in this watch: sliding straps.
Yes, in the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch, we see sliding straps like the Apple Watch, which are 22mm silicone.
Now we can’t expect leather straps at this price point, but you will be able to buy and use them.
The exciting thing is that this watch also supports apple watch straps due to the sliding mechanism.
Apart from this, it gets a metal build, giving the smartwatch a premium feel.
Overall, the Fire-Boltt Visionary is the perfect choice if you are look for a square smartwatch.

Display & UI
The Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch offers two of the most prominent highlighted features in terms of display; First, a large 1.78-inch AMOLED display, and, second, an excellent resolution of 368×448 px.
Large displays have become common in budget smartwatches; even nowadays, most smartwatches come with more prominent displays.
However, the difference is AMOLED displays, as only HD displays are provided in this segment.
And that’s why I called it one of the most affordable AMOLED calling smartwatches out there.
The large size, AMOLED display, and high resolution three together make the display quality of the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch vastly superior.
Due to this, deep black colors can be seen in the display, which makes the display look even better.
Another good thing about this watch is that it comes with minimal bezels; in this, we have a meager screen-to-body ratio, due to which its display comes out very bright.
Apart from this, if we talk about the UI of the Fire-Boltt Visionary, you can access the notification panel by swiping up, while the control panel can be accessed by swiping down.
Here we see some toggle buttons in the control panel like:
- Connection status
- Vibration on/off
- Brightness level
- Flashlight
- Theater mode (battery saver)
- Weather forecast
- Settings
In addition, there is a shortcut card section on swiping left where some commonly used options are given, such as:
- Steps count
- Sleep tracking
- Heart rate monitoring
- Blood pressure monitoring
- SpO2 monitoring
- Phone call
- AI voice assistant
- Weather forecast
Of course, we get to see a lot of options in shortcut cards, but I notice that the feature of adding more shortcut cards has been given in this watch, which is not available in low-budget smartwatches.
Here you can add more shortcut cards like meditative breathing, stopwatch, shutter control, music control, calculator, etc.
Also, if you want to remove a shortcut card, you can remove it by tapping and holding it.
In addition, swiping right opens the split screen from where we get easy access to all the recent apps.
Let me tell you that Fire-Boltt had given a split screen feature earlier in Fire-Boltt Ring Pro, which many people liked because it makes accessing the watch easy.
On the other hand, if you talk about brightness, you can use it easily in outdoor conditions.
Although I did not find information about its brightness level on Fire-Boltt’s website, but it is enough to use in daylight.
Menu Section
In Fire-Boltt Visionary, we get to see two different types of menu styles:
- Honeycomb style
- List style
I always prefer the list style menu over honeycomb because it is a bit easier to access the watch, yet this watch is an excellent option for those who prefer the honeycomb menu.
I have a solid reason for saying this.
As I told you earlier, Fire-Boltt Visionary has an AMOLED display and high resolution; due to this, we see a very smooth UI even after using the honeycomb menu, which makes the experience of using the watch even better.
You have to press the crown button to access the menu section of the watch.
From the menu section, there are the following options:
- Steps
- Phone call
- Measure HR
- Sleep
- SpO2
- Measure BP
- Exercise
- Exercise record
- Breathing
- Weather
- Shutter
- Player
- Alarm
- Stop clock
- Timer
- Perido
- Calculator
- Flashlight
- QR code
- Others*
In the option of Others, we get to access the watch’s settings; you can also access it through the control panel, in which options like display settings, vibration settings, and call settings are seen.
And in this way, you will be able to access the menu section of the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch.
Always-On Display
The Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch comes with an AMOLED display with the always-on feature, but here I found one feature quite epic that we get to see two types of always-on displays:
- Analog clock
- Digital clock
In this watch, we can use the analog and digital clock as an always-on display, which I found exciting.
Although the brightness of the always-on display is very low, even in outdoor conditions, you won’t be able to see the always-on display, which I found a bit disappointing.
But the feature of the analog and digital always-on display is impressive.

Watch Faces
In the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch, we see multiple watch faces, which have two ways to change them: first, by long tap on the home screen and secondly, through the compatible app.
In this watch, we get to see some fantastic in-built watch faces which provide a great look to the watch.
But I also found beautiful watch faces in the app library, and let me tell you that this is a massive library, so you will not have any problem getting new and stunning looks every day.
Bluetooth Calling
Now let’s talk about the Bluetooth calling feature of this Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch.
I took a few calls using the watch, and the Fire-Boltt did a great job with the mic and speakers.
First of all, talking about the speakers, they are pretty loud, even in noisy places, you will be able to hear the sound easily from them.
On the other hand, the quality of the mic was outstanding; when I called from it, the person on the other end did not even know that I was talking through the watch.
So that means you can get quality like a smartphone from it.
Apart from this, the option of recent calls, dial pad, and contacts has been given in this watch.
In addition, you can sync your smartphone contacts through the app.

AI Voice Assistant
The Voice Assistant feature is also provided in the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch.
Thanks to this feature, you can access the watch through voice commands; even if you want to make a call, you can take the help of this feature.
You can use shortcut cards or menu sections to access it.
TWS Connection & Music Storage
Another cool feature of the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch that most people ignore is TWS connectivity.
With this watch, we can connect wireless earbuds, which is a great feature.
To do this, you have to turn on the music player, and you will see three dots at the bottom; tapping on them will enable two options:
- Local music
- Phone music
By default, phone music is selected here, but after selecting local music, you get to see the option of connecting Bluetooth earbuds, through which you can pair your TWS earbuds.
Apart from this, let me tell you that the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch has 128 MB of music storage, in which you can store a few songs.
However, if we were given a little more storage here, it would have been better because you can store only a few songs in much less storage.

Health Monitoring
In the Fire-Boltt Visionary, apart from blood pressure monitoring, we have been given heart rate and spo2 features, which are not usually available in other smartwatches of this segment.
In terms of heart rate and spo2 monitoring, most Fire-Boltt smartwatches perform very well, and the same is here.
However, I found a difference in some points when I compared the data obtained with the medical equipment.
The good thing is that there is not much difference in points here.
In addition, this watch also comes with blood pressure monitoring.
Unfortunately, I could not test it because I lacked medical equipment, but I think its accuracy will live up to expectations.
If you have tested the accuracy of its BP monitoring feature, do let me know in the comments.
If you compare its accuracy with a high-end smartwatch, it might not do justice to it.
So overall, Fire-Boltt Visionary is an excellent smartwatch for health monitoring.
Sports Modes
A total of 100 sports modes have been given in the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch, which is one of its main highlight features.
To access them, you have to go to the menu section and select the option of Exercise, in which some sports modes are given.
Here we are not given all the sports modes but the option to add other modes.
With this, you can activate only those sports modes you need, and I liked this feature of the Fire-Boltt Visionary.
It does not put much load on the UI of the watch, and it works smoothly.
And after accessing them, I can say that all these sports modes work well and provide good data.
App Support
To connect the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch to the smartphone, you must install the Da Fit app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
We have talked about this app in the reviews of other Fire-Boltt smartwatches.
This app is straightforward, making it easy to access all the features.
Let me tell you that you get to see the data of all the health monitoring features and some more advanced features along with the watch face library.

Battery & Charging
So far, we have learned about almost all the features of Fire-Boltt Visionary; now, let’s talk about its battery.
I did not get any information about its battery size, but I have found it to last for 3 to 4 days in a typical scenario.
In contrast, if you are using calling and music continuously, you can expect 1 to 2 days of battery life.
At the same time, it takes about 2 hours to charge, for which a magnetic charger is given in the box.
Comfortability
The watch has a premium feel due to its metal build, which adds a slight increase in weight, yet it remains highly comfortable due to its superior design.
Plus, it also has good-quality silicone straps that you can replace.
Overall, the Fire-Boltt Visionary is considered an excellent smartwatch in terms of comfort.
Other Features
Apart from all these features, the Fire-Boltt Visionary smartwatch has some features that are not in demand but valuable, like a calculator.
In this, we have been given a built-in calculator to do some calculations on the go.
You can use the crown button to access the menu section of the watch as well as scroll through the content.
This watch comes with an IP68 water rating, so it is no problem using it in water.
It also has 128MB local storage so that you can store your music and listen on the go.
Here are some more smartwatches with local storage to consider.
And thanks to these features, the Fire-Boltt Visionary emerges as a great smartwatch.
Who Should Consider
Now let’s talk about those people for whom this watch is going to be quite suitable.
First, if you want a large AMOLED display along with calling features on a budget, definitely consider it; it is the best watch in this segment.
Second, if you want a comfortable smartwatch with a metal build, the Fire-Boltt Visionary can be a good option.
Third, if you want an absolute loudspeaker, just go for it.
Fourth, sports activity enthusiasts must go for it as it has 100 sports modes.
Fifth, it can be considered if you are health conscious and understand the need for health monitoring features.
Who Should Avoid
Now let’s talk about those for whom Fire-Boltt Visionary can prove to be a useless deal.
Look, we get to see a lot of features in this watch, due to which it is a bit difficult to avoid it in any way, but if you do not need the calling feature, it would be better to avoid it.
Because many smartwatches provide excellent features on even less budget without calling features like boAt Wave Lite.
